Marc Geissberger, DDS, MA

Marc Geissberger, DDS, MA, brings extensive training and experience as an educator to Geissberger, DDS Dr. Geissberger attended San Francisco’s University of the Pacific (UOP), where he obtained his dental degree in 1991, followed by a master of arts in educational psychology. As a student, he was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon and the Tau Kappa Omega dental honor societies. Currently, Dr. Geissberger is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Marin County Dental Society, the International College of Dentists, the American College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.

After graduation, Dr. Geissberger served as president of the UOP Alumni Association, director of its aesthetic clinic, associate professor and co-chair of its department of restorative dentistry, treasurer of its Dental School Alumni Association, and university representative to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry University Council. Dr. Marc Geissberger was also the course director for the UOP continuing education program’s “Digital Photography” and “Revitalizing the New Patient Experience” continuing education workshops.

Jeffrey Geissberger, DDS

Dr. Jeffrey Geissberger’s first-rate training and expertise make him a major asset to our dental team at Geissberger, DDS A 1993 graduate of the University of the Pacific (UOP) School of Dentistry, he continues to stay abreast of the latest advances in dentistry. Dr. Jeffrey Geissberger is a member of the American Dental Association, the Marin County Dental Society (MCDS), and the UOP Alumni Association. He is also a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. In 2006/2007, he was a member of the College of Marin’s Educational Advisory Committee, which assures the success and relevance of the school's vocational and technical education curriculum. He is a member of the MCDS and a donor to the College of Marin Foundation and to St. Mary’s College of California. Dr. Jeffrey Geissberger is also deeply involved philanthropically as a donor to the California Dental Association Foundation and as a volunteer dentist at the Hanna Boys Center, a group home that provides counseling, free dental care, and other resources for at-risk youth.

Chris Catalano, DDS

Dr. Catalano received his bachelor of science degree from St. Mary’s College in 1988 and his doctor of dental science degree from San Francisco’s University of the Pacific (UOP) in 1991. A member of the UOP Alumni Association, he supports the UOP School of Dentistry’s continuing education program, in which he taught a “Revitalizing the New Patient Experience” workshop. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Marin County Dental Association, and the Crown Council. Dr. Catalano’s expertise and training make him an invaluable member of Geissberger, DDS.

Louis Geissberger, DDS

Louis Geissberger, DDS received his undergraduate training at Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, California. He then obtained his doctorate training in Dentistry at the College of Physicians and Surgeons in San Francisco, California, the forerunner to University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry. After graduation in 1957, he began practice in San Rafael and practiced there for several years. He then relocated his practice to Larkspur and continued to practice there for four decades. He has served as President of the Alumni Association for the University of the Pacific, and a Board of Regent for both Saint Mary’s College and Marin Catholic High School. Throughout his dental career he spent countless hours providing free dental services to the young men of Hanna Boy’s Center in Sonoma, California. He is a fellow in the International College of Dentists. He has four grown sons and splits his time between Northern California and Palm Springs. He retired from active practice in 2006, but maintains a consultative role to the practice he began.
